Event Details
The Savvy Caregiver program aims to help those providing care for loved ones living with dementia through relevant knowledge, skills and self-care practices. These programs have been proven to decrease family caregiver distress, burden, depression, while increasing caregivers’ sense of competence and confidence in their care role.
Certified Dementia Practitioner, Jackie Crespo, facilitates this supportive small-group workshop. You will learn about various types of dementia, skills to help both you and your loved one better communicate and cope, and meet others who share the difficult journey.
Registration is required for this popular seven-week series. The first class is an informal meet & greet to get to know each other's particular stories. Since space is limited at the Coolidge location, we ask that you commit to attending all future sessions once registered.
