Program Description

Event Details

This 4-week hands on Digital Literacy Workshop will include basic computer skills, internet basics, using email, and Windows basics. You'll learn how to identify different devices, use interaction controls, connect and browse the internet using settings, tools, and shortcuts, using email and attachments, learn internet safety, use File Explorer and Recycle Bin.

This is a free workshop hosted by Goodwill Keystone Mobile Learning Lab and will take place on the customized vehicle in the parking lot of BAPL Coolidge. Since the lab has six learning stations, the class will be limited to six participants. In consideration of others, registering for this workshop indicates that you understand you are committing to attend all four classes.

Instructor Lisa Ference has a B.S. in Computer Science from DeSales University. She is a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent who investigated computer crimes and intrusions for the FBI in New York City. She now works at Goodwill Keystone Area, providing learning opportunities in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties.
