Does art have to be perfect? Where do you begin? We’ll take a look at the inspiring picture book Time to Make Art - it’s a wonderful introduction to the multifaceted and diverse global history of art, empowering readers to simply begin creating their own idea of art.
Throughout the What Makes Art summer series, we will introduce picture books that focus on a variety of artists, curators, civic workers and scientists whose curiosity and creativity helped to make the world a better place. Each session includes a story and follow up art and extension activities.
This series is best suited for children ages 8+. Registration is required.
