Event Details

In conjunction with the NNLM's All of Us Research Program, join us for a film screening and discussion of the 2022 documentary film, The Human Trial, which portrays the reality of type 1 diabetes and clinical trial participation. The post-film discussion will be facilitated by Bethlehem local Kristy Birchard, a clinical researcher and patient advocate who has had type 1 diabetes for 28 years. This discussion will focus on how patients can use experiences to build community and advocate for more equitable innovation and outcomes.
