Program Description

Event Details

The game industry for the longest time has been considered a “boy’s club,” and aimed at the straight, white male demographic, but the 2010’s brought with it a major discussion about gender and inclusivity when it comes to the games we consume. Game Scholar Josh Bycer discusses how things have evolved from the 90’s and what representation means in video games. He’ll also show off some major examples and trends of how game marketing has changed over the years. Registration is required.
