Coolidge library patrons! We need YOUR help creating a mural design for the hallway here at BAPL Coolidge!
If you frequently visit our township location, you may have noticed that the hallway sometimes seems exceptionally bare, that the blank walls could use some pops of color, that they'd be the perfect place for a beautiful mural. Well, we thought so, too! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Lehigh Valley Muralist Kyle Edwards as he leads our community in the mural design process. The first session will be brainstorming and conversation with our community of library patrons to determine what elements they'd like to see represented in the mural. Kyle will then synthesize those ideas to create a unique wall design just for our library. In future sessions, this mural project group will actually paint the mural in the hallway at Coolidge.
Sponsored by the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, this age-friendly intergenerational project provides an opportunity for social inclusion and participation for older adults in the Bethlehem community.
Pizza will be served for this first session, and registration is required. Bring your energy and your ideas!
