Week Calendar

Preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to join us each Wednesday morning for songs, stories, hands-on learning, and a simple craft to take home!  

Join us over at the Banana Factory at 10am on the third Thursday of every month for a special library storytime! We are happy to partner with one of the Lehigh Valley's premier arts and education organizations.

This month's book selection is Swimmers (2022) by Otsuka, Julie

Come and stop by the library to show off your drawing skills! We'll have supplies available as well as how-to-draw books to use as reference or checkout! Stop by and doodle the day away! 

Classes are held simultaneously in-person and on Zoom.

Enjoy time with your little one while they develop the essential skills of sharing, taking turns, being silly, and having fun! Playtime at the South Side Branch has a selection of rotating STEM, arts, crafts, dramatic, and open play stations.

Come on in for stories and activities with everyday items! Enjoy the fun here, then continue it at home. We’ll look at found art/collage in stories, and then make our own collages.

Come hear the poem of the week! Every Tuesday at Books on the Hill a new poem is selected and recited by performance poet/library staff Cleveland Wall.  No registration necessary--this is a drop-in event.

Do you want to practice your English? Intermediate speakers are invited to practice their skills in everyday conversations. No registration is required.

This event is for adults and is only accessible by stairs.

Bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, sewing, or macrame, etc. to the Main Library to chat with fellow enthusiasts and work on your projects.

If you or someone you love has experienced loss and grief and would like support to navigate this often unfamiliar territory, please join us for a three-week Grief Support Group with Wendy Thomson.

One shot adventure, pre-rolled characters, dice set, and mini manual provided. This event for grades 6 -12 will be held in the Youth Services Department on the 2nd floor of the Library. No registration is required.
