Week Calendar

Put away the phone and spend time with your little one practicing the skills of taking turns, saying "please" and "thank you" and sharing, all while having a blast in our amazing toy room.

Join us for a morning of stories, learning and fun! Registration is not required.

Play simple instruments and dance to the beat of pop selections and children’s fun favorites. No registration is required. All ages are welcome. This event will be held in the Youth Services Department on the 2nd floor of the Library.

Check out the greatest (gently) used book sale in town! 

Located in the basement of the Main Library, we have over 15,000 items, including DVDs, music, as well as tons of books. 

Classes are held simultaneously in-person and on Zoom.

Listen to a story read in both English and the featured language by Moravian University Modern Language and Literatures Department. Learn about a different world language and culture each session. A fun art activity will follow the reading.

Join us for a Bethlehem Steel Storytime! We will read stories about steelworkers and Bethlehem's local history. Join us in coloring in some Bethlehem Steel coloring pages too! No registration is required. 

Celebrate Paw Patrol with BAPL! We will have hands-on crafts and activities all about Paw Patrol and their purrfect characters! We will have Paw Patrol snacks for kids to chew on while chatting with other Paw Patrol fans. 

Experience this ancient Chinese exercise which promotes circulation, flexibility, balance, and stamina to improve overall health and well-being. Exercises are short, easy to learn, and adjustable to every individual.

Come hear the poem of the week! Every Tuesday at Books on the Hill a new poem is selected and recited by performance poet/library staff Cleveland Wall.  No registration necessary--this is a drop-in event.

Do you want to become a citizen of the United States, but need help?  Come to this class for help.

Volunteer teacher, My Lien Nguyen will help you prepare for the citizenship test.

Do you want to practice your Spanish?  If so, this group is for you.  Converse with other Spanish speakers on a variety of topics.
