Event Details

Learn about the remarkable groundbreaking sculptor Augusta Savage through a short video presentation and by viewing a photo gallery of her works. Participants in grades 4 – 12 are invited to create a small animal sculpture in air-dry clay based on her early works. You be the artist! No registration is required. This event will be held in the Youth Department on the 2nd floor of the Main Library.
