During the American Revolution local officials in Pennsylvania were required to compile a list of every enslaved man and woman in each county. Northampton County's "slave register" was thought to be lost--but it was rediscovered in June 2022! This register reveals surprising new information about enslaved men and women in Moravian Bethlehem and in its satellite communities.
