Event Details
Author Janice Kenyatta will visit the Library and read her book, Just As It Is. This picture book speaks to the importance of accepting and respecting the differences in ourselves and others. Those in attendance will be invited to join in a brief discussion of the book after the reading. Copies of the book and a doll of the main character Abena will be available for purchase. No registration is required. This event will be held in the Youth Department on the 2nd floor of the Main Library.
