Local author and poet Lee Upton will read excerpts from her brilliant and funny new novel Tabitha, Get Up. She will also share some of her award-winning poetry. Books will be available to sign. Registration encouraged.

Lee Upton is a local author of national repute, the author of numerous books, including short stories, poetry, and novels. She has won multiple awards for her work. She was awarded the Mary Louise VanArtsdalen Prize for Scholarship, the Marquis Teaching Award, the Jones Award, and the Jones Faculty Lecture Award at Lafayette College. She has an MFA from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a PhD in English from Binghamton University.  She was named the Francis A. March Professor Emerita and Writer in Residence at Lafayette College.
