Join us on for Rooted; A Story of Artists Embracing Place, a 75-minute documentary about the transformation of Bethlehem from a steel town to an arts town. Highlighting an artistic community of music, visual arts, theater, and festivals, the film features many well-known members of local creative communities and was nominated for Best Documentary at the Newark International Film Festival and was awarded second place for Best Documentary Feature at the Bare Bones Music Doc Script Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
The film will be followed by a discussion with some of the featured artists. Admission is free, although donations of non-perishable food items for New Bethany's Choice Food Pantry are encouraged.
