National Dance Day is the third Saturday in September, and because we love dancing, we thought we'd invite Missy Cindy back to lead a special dance-themed storytime! As a former kindergarten teacher and dance instructor, Cindy Kurtz has a wonderful repertoire of dance moves just for young children!
Family storytimes for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 will be offered on select Thursday mornings throughout each month, so it's best to check the online calendar regularly. Each 45-minute session will be offered by library staff or a special guest presenter. Staff will offer thoughtfully themed storytimes with engaging picture books, songs, rhymes, movement and props, followed by a simple storytime craft. Guest presenters from the community will offer programs based on their unique professions or organizations. Come prepared to engage in storytime fun with your child!
The Coolidge library opens at 11am on Thursdays, but the doors will open at 9:50am on the days we have a 10am storytime. Since indoor space is limited, registration is required for each session. Please cancel your registration in ample time if you are unable to attend so that others on the waiting list may join. If you happen to stop by and the session is not full, you are welcome to join.
