Watch a short film on the art and difficult life of African American artist Augusta Savage. Learn about her love for sculpting, her lifelong work for equal rights, her role in the Harlem Renaissance movement, and her dedication to teaching young artists. View a display of photos on the life and work of this artist. Create a work in clay inspired by this amazing artist. This event will be held in the Youth Services Department on the 2nd floor of the Main Library.
