For over a century, Black filmmakers have been making history as some of the most distinct and innovative storytellers in the world. They have also been making history by documenting the powerful triumphs and sometimes terrible tribulations of Black people in America. Join us on February 22, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Bethlehem Public Library as Dr. Chris Hunt discusses "America Through the Lens of Black Filmmakers". Registration is Recommended. All Ages Welcome.

Dr. Chris Hunt (he/him/his), is Vice President and Dean for Equity and Inclusion at Moravian University. His research, “When Millennials Meet Baby Boomers: Multiple Case Study on the Experiences of Black Male College Students” examined the lived experiences of two generational cohorts of college graduates who navigated predominately White institutions (PWI) during the Baby Boomer generation as well as the Millennial era.The husband of a college dean and the father of three Generation Z children, Chris is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and earned a Master of Science in Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
